My Story

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with over 55,000 new cases diagnosed annually (roughly 150 per day).  Over 540,000 men are currently living with or after a diagnosis in the UK and 1 in 8 will be diagnosed within their lifetime.

Prostate cancer screening is generally advised for men starting around the age of 50. It has a very high cure rate, with 5 year survival approaching 100% making early screening crucial.

On 13th June 2026, I am taking part in Snowdonia for Science 2026. I will be trekking to the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) all in aid of Prostate Cancer Research.

I hope to raise awareness around prostate cancer screening and research and help stop the lives of men being prematurely lost.

Support our team today and give us that extra encouragement to reach the summit.
